Namib is a pure barrel-dyed aniline leather, which becomes even more sustainable than already conventionally tanned leathers due to its special chrome-free tanning. No chrome salts or aldehydes are used in this sand tanning process, resulting in a better environmental footprint, lower water consumption and less discharge of chemicals in waste and effluents. The performance of this tanning agent is also unrivaled because, in addition, it produces a leather with very good physical properties and high grain tightness. This particular article is made from the raw material of African cattle and gets its final touch from the oils and waxes used. All natural characteristics are consciously processed.
